Let’s Create Together!

Let’s Create Together!

What’s My Story?

I have always loved textiles. I learned to embroider and knit as a child, hand sewing Barbie clothes and crafting whatever I could. Cross stitch soon became my outlet. I could keep my hands and mind busy as I watched a movie or chatted with friends.

My quilting journey started in 2007. I took a block of the month class in 2007 at Ben Franklin in Monroe that changed my life and opened up a world of art and creativity that I never imagined myself in. Along with learning a beautiful craft, I gained a room full of ā€œAuntiesā€ that made me laugh and cry and taught me so much about quilting and everything else under the sun. That is what I am trying to continue with Carrie’s Creative Studio. I hope I can be someone else’s community. To be a space where someone can learn and grow and belong. I would love you to be a part of our community.
